Jake Paul has teased a summer return to the boxing ring in a social media post from his promotional company.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer had an incredibly active period of 13 months from November 2020 to December of last year, fighting four times in major pay-per-view events.
But he has opted to take an extended break from the ring to focus on promoting the Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor super-fight on April 30, as well as other business opportunities.
And he is now plotting his return to the ring, with his promotional company asking fans in a post who should be his next opponent in the ring. The post's location was tagged as "summer" hinting a date for Paul's return.
The majority of comments appear to indicate that they want Paul to reschedule his fight with Tommy Fury, which was supposed to take place last December.
They had a date set for December 18 at Florida's Amalie Arena, but the fight was cancelled on two weeks' notice after the Brit picked up an injury in training after battling a chest infection.
Paul instead offered a rematch to former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, with whom he had fought to a split decision the previous August.
But there was no doubt left after the fight as Paul stopped Woodley with a vicious knockout in the sixth round to bring his professional record to 5-0.
Fury has since been angling for the bout to be rescheduled, but there appears to be minimal interest on Paul's end to make it happen after the late-notice cancellation.
"That fight has, I think, lost steam," Paul told Boxing Social. "Tommy's only sort of around and talked about because of me.
"He needs to go and get another fight under his belt, maybe go and fight Tyron Woodley, I'm not really interested in it."

When Paul was in London to promote the Taylor vs Serrano fight last month, he told Mirror Fighting that he was expecting Fury to appear and try to push for the bout to be made again.
And Paul was expecting a Shannon Briggs-style appearance from the younger Fury brother, who instead opted to take a training trip to Dubai.
"I thought it would be smart of him to do that," Paul replied when asked b about Fury showing up to confront him. "But, obviously he's not about that life."
Fury, for his part, is expected to fight another opponent on the undercard of his brother Tyson's world heavyweight title defence against Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium next month.
His last outing happened on the undercard of Pau's first fight with Woodley , where he laboured to a decision win over MMA fighter Anthony Taylor.
The Brit and his promoter Frank Warren are desperate to make the fight happen again, which Paul has indicated could be possible with a big win on April 23.
