Jake Paul suggests Tommy Fury fight is off as he accuses rival of "hiding"

Jake Paul has instructed his team to move "on to the next one" as he hinted that his fight with Tommy Fury is OFF.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer was forced to cancel a planned press conference with Fury in New York yesterday after the Brit was unable to fly to America. Paul still travelled to Madison Square Garden in an effort to salvage the bout which is scheduled to take place on August 6.

Paul appeared for marketing shots at the famous New York venue, even sending a video where he explained that Fury should just get to the US Embassy and secure a visa in time for their fight to. go ahead. However, it now seems that he is moving on after a tweet slamming both Tommy and his world heavyweight champion brother Tyson.

"Tommy Fury is in hiding," he wrote. "B**** made. Tyson Fury's lawyer never got back to my team on setting up escrow for our $1million bet. Never believed in his brother. Instructed my team to do a Hova [rapper Jay-Z ] and move On To The Next One."

It remains to be seen if Paul will go ahead with the August 6 date against a new opponent, with a number of undercard fights already confirmed for the pay-per-view event. Amanda Serrano is set to co-headline in a featherweight title fight against Brenda Carabajal, while young prospect Ashton Sylve is also due to be on the card.

Paul had said he would be willing to move the event to the UK at just five weeks' notice in an effort to force a fight with Fury, but demanded $15million for the switch. He said in a Twitter video directed at Fury yesterday that the fee would be to make up for lost pay-per-view revenue and ticket sales from a massive Madison Square Garden event.

"Update, we've spoken to Tommy Fury's lawyers," Paul said in a social media video from the famous venue yesterday. "They are all advising him to just go to the embassy and get his visa, that's all he has to do.

"But Tommy is showing no urgency, he hasn't gone yet, he's not communicating with us on what he's doing. Is this another case of Tommy Fumbles being scared to fight me? I think that's what it is. I think the Fury family is trying to manipulate something here to make me fight in the UK. Okay, you want me to fight in the UK? Show me $15million.

"Because here in America we do more pay-per-view buys, more ticket sales and more sponsorship. I've shown you the money and we're ready to go in MSG on August 6. Tommy, you're going to miss out on the biggest payday of your life because you want me to come to the UK? Like I said, I'll come there, just show me the money.

"Y'all can't do that, y'all don't have $15million, this is embarrassing, go to the embassy, get your visa and let's make this fight happen. Stop ducking me and stop wasting my time."
