Jake Paul sends death threat to rival KSI as YouTube star sets date for fight

Jake Paul has warned KSI that he will "die" when the bitter rivals eventually settle their feud in the ring.

Paul and KSI have been exchanging words for several years and are expected to fight at the end of 2023 if the former can get past Love Island star Tommy Fury this Sunday in Saudi Arabia. KSI took three years away from boxing after his two-fight series with Jake's brother, Logan, but returned to the ring last August to beat rapper Swarmz and professional boxer Luis Pineda in a farcical 'two fights in one night' event

KSI revealed his potential fight against Paul is pencilled-in for December 16 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, but Paul insists that he would happily fight his YouTube rival sooner than that. 'The Problem Child' has likened the fight to a bank robbery and plans to beat UFC legend Nate Diaz before facing KSI.

"The kid KSI keeps on talking and he said that in December he wants to fight. I'm ready whenever. November, September, December, I don't care. Whenever he wants to die, I'm cool with it. Whenever he wants to give me so much money, I'm cool with it. It's going to be a bank robbery so hopefully that's my year, finish up with KSI but a lot of these guys are talk man so who knows," Paul told BT Sport Boxing.

KSI knocked out fellow content creator FaZe Temperr in London last month and is targeting another fight in May. 'The Nightmare' only has one professional win under his belt, his 2018 rematch against Logan, as all of his recent fights have been sanctioned as exhibitions. KSI admitted that he ditched several of his other business ventures to make a boxing return as he was angered whenever he saw Paul win a fight.

"Every time I would see Jake win a fight, it just angered me because I'm there like, 'He's not that good'. He's not as good as everybody thinks he is," KSI said on The MMA Hour. "At the time, I had to just focus on music and while this was all going on, but then I was like, 'Wcrew it'. I'm going to come into boxing and slow down the music, just come through and destroy Jake.

"Even though I'm doing everything else - Sidemen, YouTube, my own channel, Prime and all of my other business ventures - I'm going to come in, knock him out and then go back to everything that I was doing before. Jake is not prepared for me and when I fight him, he'll understand. Mentally, I am so strong. When people fight me, they realise I am not going to back down."
