Jake Paul sends confident Man City vs Liverpool FC prediction ahead of Premier League clash

YouTube star and boxer Jake Paul has predicted that Mohamed Salah's Liverpool will emerge victorious from their clash with Manchester City on Sunday.

The top-of-the-table clash could determine whether the Premier League trophy remains draped in the City blue and white ribbons or whether it will go to Anfield for just the second time ever. Pep Guardiola's side sit a point clear of their rivals and on paper have an easier run-in than their nearest challengers.

Both clubs have their sights set on creating their own piece of individual history with the reigning champions eyeing a Treble, whilst Jurgen Klopp looks to add to his side's Carabao Cup triumph earlier in the campaign with the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League. But despite home advantage and holding top spot, Paul has tipped Liverpool to come out on top.

Paul tweeted to his 4.2m followers: "Man City Vs Liverpool is a toss up. City has home field…but Liverpool on fire at the moment.

"I’m putting my bet on The Reds and @mosalah (Mohamed Salah)." Both English giants won their respective European outings in midweek with City seeing off a resolute Atletico Madrid while it was success in Portugal for Liverpool as they ran out 3-1 winners against Benfica.

The YouTuber turned professional boxer currently boasts an unbeaten record of five wins in as many fights with four coming via knockout. After City and Liverpool couldn't be separated in October, Paul believes Salah could prove to be the difference on Sunday.
