Jake Paul wasted no time in taking to social media to mock Jorge Masvidal after he was comprehensively beaten by Colby Covington.
Masvidal and Covington were once best friends and teammates before their relationship soured.
They were looking to settle their feud at UFC 272 last night - and it was Covington who dominated from start to finish.
Masvidal did drop his fellow welterweight in the fourth round but was unable to capitalise and was ultimately on the wrong end of a unanimous-decision defeat.
The Miami native also has a long history with YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul with the pair training together before falling out.
Paul has called out the UFC's 'BMF' champion for a boxing fight and went as far as to offer him $5million.
Masvidal turned him down flat and went on to sign a new deal with the leading MMA promotion which is expected to tie him down until the end of his career.
Within minutes of the final hooter, however, Paul had tweeted to the beaten man, saying mockingly: "First of all Masvidal you ain’t rich."
Masvidal had celebrated his new deal by claiming he was now among the top-five highest paid athletes in the UFC.
And after Paul had knocked out Tyron Woodley in their rematch last December, Masvidal mocked his reported 650,000 pay-per-view buys.

"B**** boy can’t afford the big boys," Masvidal said. "Never again do I want to hear my name associated with the fake.
"3 0 5 [Masvidal's Miami area code] day is coming."
Paul has taken on the daunting challenge of attempting to improve fighter pay in recent months in a campaign which has put him in direct conflict with UFC president Dana White.
Masvidal is the second UFC star in as many months to pen a new, seemingly lucrative new deal after the middleweight champion Israel Adesanya claimed his fresh terms made him the second-highest earner behind Conor McGregor.
