Jake Paul will return to the ring on August 6, one week earlier than planned, as the social media sensation attempts to extend his unbeaten record to six fights.
The YouTube star will take on an as-yet unnamed opponent at Madison Square Garden, with Tommy Fury in the running to be in the opposite corner. World champion Amanda Serrano will be on the undercard in New York, returning to the super-featherweight division to defend her titles.
Serrano had held talks over a rematch with Katie Taylor but negotiations over holding the sequel in Dublin fell through. Taylor outpointed Serrano in the Big Apple in April and is now on the hunt for a new opponent for a potential homecoming bout later this year.
Paul made his professional debut two years ago when he stopped fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib in Miami. He went on to KO former NBA star Nate Robinson later in 2020 before turning his attention to retired MMA fighters.
Ben Askren was stopped in the first round before former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley took Paul the eight-round distance last August. Paul was a deserving winner on the scorecards and then turned his attention to Fury, younger brother of heavyweight world champion Tyson.
They agreed to fight in Florida two weeks before last Christmas but the fight fell through at a fortnight's notice when Fury broke a rib and picked up a chest infection. He was replaced by Woodley who was brutally knocked out in the sixth round.

Fury returned to the ring in April when he laboured to a points win on the undercard of his brother's stoppage win over Dillian Whyte. He once again called out Paul who said he would consider rescheduling their bout while also angling for a fight with UFC legend Anderson Silva.
Silva returned to the ring last month on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather's exhibition fight with Don Moore but promoter Eddie Hearn later claimed Paul and Fury had agreed terms to fight on Paul's original return date of August 13.
Neither fighter has confirmed the bout, however, but Paul did confirm his return will be shown on Showtime pay-per-view in the United States. The 24-year-old's two-fight deal with the broadcast giant expired after his rematch but he has opted to remain with the outlet.
