Jake Paul has recalled a time himself and Sean O'Malley were on "certain substances" while partying together outside of their fighting careers.
Paul has launched a fighting career of his own in the boxing ring, where he has fought five times as a professional, earning victories over former UFC stars Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren. During his time in combat sports, Paul has befriended a number of fighters who now work for the promotion including Israel Adesanya and O'Malley.
O'Malley is currently in training camp ahead of his huge shot against Petr Yan, which is set for UFC 280 on October 22 in Abu Dhabi. Paul has kicked off his new talk show series, 'BS with Jake Paul', with O'Malley one of his guests, and the YouTube star recalled an experience where the pair partied together.
"Me and you are very similar where we like to go f***ing crazy," Paul said during the first episode of his new show when discussing his and O'Malleys careers. "Like me and you have been off on certain substances and at an extreme level of not sobriety basically together where we were doing reckless things.
"We have never talked about this because we were both fully sending it, but where do you draw the line? Where it is like we are jumping on top of the SOS sign or we are on top of training camp?" O'Malley replied: "When I am sending there is not really a line, I like to go crazy and see how I can get.
"But I think it is the level of discipline I put into my training camps, I am like 12 weeks out with not partying and I am dialled in and I am sober. There is a level of extreme level of discipline for training camp and I have that same level of discipline to go hard and I have to go hard. I don't know how to sip a couple of drinks."

O'Malley was seen out partying on multiple occasions before entering his focused training camp to prepare for the challenge of the leading Russian contender. This includes his appearance on a boat party with YouTube prank squad Nelk boys, where he landed a swift kick on one of the content creator group that left him doubled over in pain.
The rising star's last fight ended in frustration after being declared a no contest following an accidental eye poke from the bantamweight contender. Despite the size of his next challenge being significantly bigger, O'Malley has admitted he doesn't care about the outcome as he knows he will become champion.
He told ESPN : "I’m not attached to I have to win this fight. I’m gonna be a world champ someday, 100 per cent. I’ve never been scared of losing, so I think the closer the fight gets, the more confident I’m gonna become. I’ll get back to camp and get dialled in."
