Jake Paul has made a sensational offer to travel to London to fight fellow YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI, with the latter's bout with Alex Wassabi in doubt.
KSI had been due to take on Wassabi on 27 August but news broke on Saturday morning that his opponent had picked up an injury. YouTuber Keemstar claimed on his Drama Alert internet news show that the fight was in doubt as a result.
"Ladies and gentleman, this is breaking news. Wassabi is injured. Now I’ve heard two different injuries, I’ve heard concussions, I’ve heard a broken hand. It’s coming from a source from close to Wassabi’s camp," he said.
"I have another source close to Wassabi’s camp. This is what is happening right now. I have double checked, I have crossed my t’s, dotted my i’s on this. Wassabi is injured. And there is a fear right now that he won’t be fighting KSI on August 27."
If the reports are correct and Wassabi is forced to pull out, then KSI will need to find a new opponent, if he still wants to fight at the end of August. One potential option is a blockbuster bout with Jake Paul.
The American appears to be keen to set up a fight, taking to Twitter to set out potential terms. He called on KSI to accept, with Paul ready to fly out to London to take on the YouTuber.

"Heard that Alex is out bc of a concussion. F***** up. This was a big opportunity for Alex. He will be back. KSI… everything happens for a reason. I’ll come fight in your hometown. Your boxing company. You are A-Side. I also agree to make 180 pounds for August 27. You accept?" Paul tweeted.
Paul also posted a video alongside that message, in which he again laid out his offer for KSI. The 25-year-old began the video by laughing, before hinting that KSI will attempt to find an reason to turn him down.
"KSI's fight man, I heard the news, it sucks for Alex obviously. He has a concussion, he can't fight. But now this puts KSI into a corner, if he doesn't accept the fight with me, we all just know that he's scared. KSI I will come to London, I will weigh 180 pounds for the fight, you can be the A-side, what's your excuse? Do you accept?" Paul said.
KSI has not yet fought Paul, though has taken on his older brother Logan twice. The first came in February 2018 as a white-collar fight, which ended as a majority draw, with two judges scoring the fight even at 57–57 and a third judge scoring 58–57 in favour of KSI.
They fought a rematch in November 2019, this time a professional bout at the Staples Center. In that bout, KSI defeated Paul by a split decision, with two judges scoring the bout 56–55 and 57–54 in favour of the Englishman, and a third judge scoring the fight 56–55 in favour of his opponent.
That bout was KSI's last in the ring, with the fight with Wassabi set to be the first since he defeated Paul. The younger Paul brother meanwhile has fought five times at a professional level, winning all of them, with four of those victories coming via a knockout.
