Jake Paul proposes new bet for KSI fight ahead of Wembley Stadium showdown

Jake Paul wants half of KSI's equity in his beverage company with Logan Paul; Prime Hydration, if he wins their fight next summer.

The American YouTube star has had a long-running feud with his British counterpart dating back to before his brother faced him in a series of boxing matches in 2018 and 2019. KSI ultimately won their rematch after a draw the first time around, and prior to the coronavirus pandemic appeared set to then face the younger sibling in a massive bout.

But when the world was shut down due to restrictions, KSI opted to instead focus on his YouTube and music careers, both of which have gone strength-to-strength since in the form of top 10 singles and No.1 albums. He returned to the ring last month with a 'two fights in one night' gimmick event, and will have a tune-up fight in January before eventually hosting Paul in London next summer.

The duo have already agreed to a 'winner takes all' stipulation in their contract, but Paul now wants a further bet over an ownership stake in Prime. The beverage has become a rarity in the UK after selling out in seconds across ASDA stores, and is also a huge seller in America, which would be an asset to his portfolio of assets.

"This is an exclusive," Jake said during a recording of his show BS with Jake Paul where he interviewed his brother Logan. "JJ, I'm proposing to you that when we fight, if I win I take half of your Prime equity. Winner takes all and I get half of your Prime equity, but if you beat me you get half of my Betr equity [Paul's new gambling company]."

Prime Hydration has been a massively successful venture for KSI and Logan Paul, selling tens of millions of units since launching this year and becoming a difficult-to-find item on shelves. In America, Paul has even claimed it accounts for one per cent of all hydration beverages sold in the country.

However, he will have to put his friendship with the Brit aside when if brother takes him on next summer at Wembley. Jake has conceded that he will allow KSI to be the A-Side, despite questioning the success of his recent pay-per-view, which reportedly sold 230,000 units in the UK and Ireland.

"KSI, I've always said it that you can be the A-Side for your ego," Paul added in a separate segment. "Obviously you have an ego issue, I don't give a f*** about being the A-Side, we all know who the real A-Side is - I just want to knock you the f*** out, I'll do it in your own country, I'll let you be the A-Side because it doesn't matter when it's all said and done and you're asleep on the f***ing canvas."
