YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul has told Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg that he will help to stage a potential MMA fight between them.
Tesla boss Musk proposed a fight between himself and Zuckerberg after a Twitter user told him to "be careful" as the Meta co-founder is now taking up Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Musk replied to the fan: "I’m up for a cage match if he is lol" and Zuckerberg was quick to fire back by using UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov's "send me location" catchphrase. Musk then suggested the fight should take place in Las Vegas by replying: "Vegas octagon".
Fans have called for the tech bosses to follow up on their trash talk and Paul has proposed the bout could take place in the PFL. "Elon I will gladly promote your fight against Zuck, we can do it in the PFL on ESPN+ for charity," he wrote. Paul signed with the PFL earlier this year as he will make his MMA debut in the promotion's pay-per-view super-fight division next year.
Zuckerberg would have the experience advantage over Musk if the pair did meet in the cage, as Musk poked fun at himself by admitting that he doesn't partake in regular exercise. "I have this great move that I call "The Walrus", where I just lie on top of my opponent & do nothing. I almost never work out, except for picking up my kids & throwing them in the air," he wrote.
UFC fighters were impressed by Zuckerberg's skills as he won gold and silver medals in his first Brazilian jiu-jitsu competition last month. Zuckerberg is a big fan of MMA and captured the attention of fight fans last year by posting a video of himself sparring with American fighter Khai Wu.

Former two-weight UFC champion Conor McGregor wrote of Zuckerberg's recent success on the mats: "Yo!!! F***ing awesome Mark". Former flyweight king Brandon Moreno also commented "Wow, congrats!" whilst top-ranked bantamweight Merab Dvalishvili added: "Congratulations Zuck great job. I would love to train with you".
Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan even rented out the UFC's Apex facility in Las Vegas last year to watch a fight night event from cageside. Musk would make up for his lack of fighting experience by having a big size advantage over Zuckerberg. The Tesla boss is just under 6'2" tall and weighs considerably more than Zuckerberg, who is 5'8" and around 70kg.
