Jake Paul has mocked KSI as he prepares to announce Dilon Dannis as his next boxing opponent.
KSI - real name Olajide Olatunji - will return to the ring on January 14 in Boston as the headline act of the fourth Misfits Boxing show. He had planned to share top billing with Logan Paul but he has been forced to pull out through injury.
KSI had hoped to take on former UFC world champion Tyron Woodley but the rivals were unable to reach an agreement with Woodley laying the blame squarely at the YouTuber's door. And instead KSI will take on Danis with whom he clashed at the weigh-in on Friday for Misfits Boxing 3.
KSI had overseen the fighters stepping on the scales when he was approached by Danis who proceeded to throw a punch at his rival. Danis was later on the receiving end when he was hit by Anthony Taylor, a former sparring partner of Jake Paul, and is set to be announced as KSI's opponent today.
Speaking about his next fight, KSI said: "Every opponent I've faced is dangerous, or has the ability to be dangerous, but the person I'm fighting is very dangerous. He has beaten a lot of people and, for me, is exciting. I've wanted to get my hands on him for time. It's raising the bar and it's nice for me to finally get my hands on him and knock him out."

Paul was quick to take to social media to respond to his rival's comments, saying: "'Has beaten a lot of people'. You are 'boxing' a guy who has two MMA fights in his entire career and the last one of those was 3.5 years ago. Should have fought Woodley but you ain’t got the balls."
Danis, who has been a training partner of Conor McGregor's, was last in action when he submitted Max Humphrey at Belator 222 in June 2019. His only previous fight was another submission victory over Kyle Walker over a year earlier.
