Jake Paul has offered Chris Eubank Jr a front row seat to his fight with Anderson Silva this month after his bout with Conor Benn was thrown into jeopardy this afternoon.
The boxing star has made a number of callouts towards Paul in the hopes of earning a big money fight, although they have generally fallen on deaf ears. In the meantime, they agreed to face Benn and Silva respectively, although it now appears Eubank Jr is about to lose out on Saturday night's main event.
YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul tweeted and then deleted an invitation to the fight to Eubank Jr this afternoon amid a scramble to save the fight by promoter Eddie Hearn. Benn has passed his UKAD tests, which are all that the British Boxing Board of Control needs to sanction a bout, but the board have publicly stated that the fight should not take place in the sport's interest.
And Paul, while refusing to take a stance on the fight, tagged Eubank Jr and tweeted: "Chris I got front row seats for you for #PaulSilva October 29th. Come see if you really want to do this."
Most recently, Eubank Jr was asked if he would fight Paul by SPORTBible, and named his price as in the tens of millions. "Even though he's not on my level, I'll take £20million to beat up Jake Paul, absolutely," Eubank explained. "I don't know how much they're making for each fight.
"But that would be a super-fight I'd be expecting a nice little paycheque from it. Jake is making a lot of noise in the boxing world, he's undefeated, he is a big name and draws big numbers. It's just a fight that people are saying [to me] 'I want you to be the first guy to knock him out'."
It wasn't the first time that he entertained the possibility of fighting Paul, although this would be the first time that the American has acknowledged his jibes. Eubank first welcomed a fight against Paul when the YouTube star was scheduled to compete in his sixth professional fight against Hasim Rahman Jr in August.

"Yo Jake Paul. Once I deal with Benn and you take care of Rahman how about me and you go for a couple of rounds," Eubank wrote at the time. "I’ll come in at 160lb, you come in at whatever weight you want. Winner gets Canelo. And don’t worry I am not Tommy Fury, if I say I will do something, it gets done."
However, he was then ultimately tied up in a massive money pay-per-view bout against Benn for The O2 arena, which sold out instantly and attracted major interest across the UK. And it was expected to draw a big number for broadcaster DAZN before Benn's failed drug test, which has thrown the whole event into doubt.
In the meantime, Paul is facing UFC legend Silva on October 29 at the Gila River Arena in Arizona in his sixth professional fight. He has been out of action since last December despite attempting to fight in August, when his bouts with Tommy Fury and Hasim Rahman Jr were both called off.
