Jake Paul has spoken about Paddy Pimblett's UFC 282 win, telling opponent Jared Gordon that he deserved the victory after the American claimed he was 'robbed'.
Pimblett went the distance for the first time in UFC against Gordon, 34 , in their lightweight contest before the judges awarded the fight to the 27-year-old from Liverpool. However, there has been much criticism with Gordon himself claiming that he was 'robbed' after the win.
After the fight, Gordon tweeted: "I was robbed everyone knows it. I can cry about it, but I have been back from worst and god's plan is the best plan so I know there’s something big to come from it.".

This was retweeted by Jake Paul, who has engaged in a public war of words with Pimblett, with the American suggesting that Dana White favours certain stars - hinting Pimblett's online popularity is a factor. He tweeted: "Being a UFC fighter, with zero rights and no control, is amazing if you are one of Dana White’s favorites. You can even do a food review for free to drive up his views. What a league. Y’all deserve better."
However, one star who has given his support to 'The Baddy' is UFC legend Conor McGregor, with the Irish former two-weight world champion praising the Liverpool born star. He said on Twitter: "Congrats Paddy The Baddy this weekend. Doing all the right things despite what you’d think. Great stuff. Onward."
Pimblett won the fight having landed more significant strikes in the fight, but three takedowns from Gordon and six minutes in control of the fight suggest dominance from the American. However, failure to secure a stoppage left the judges with a decision to make and Pimblett was awarded a unanimous decision.
