Tommy Fury has been handed the chance to face Jake Paul in 2023, with the pair reportedly close to reaching an agreement following two previous failed attempts to enter the ring.
Paul has revealed to the Mirror that he would be willing to fight in Manchester in order to secure a deal to fight following F ury's withdrawal from their summer contest due to Visa issues. This is contrary to reports originally published by social media outlet Bread Batch which claimed that a fight was due to take place in the Middle East on February 25.
The new date which is being discussed has been revealed by Paul to be February 18, with the American social media star keen to make a deal happen at the third attempt.

"I have done everything in my power to make the fight happen against this 8-0 boxer, including offering to go to Manchester for February 18 in partnership with Frank and George Warren," Paul said. "I'm looking at any other alternative to make this fight work."
Paul has fuelled speculation in recent days, replying to a tweet from YouTuber Wade Plemons which claimed that a $2.5 million (£2.07m) deal had been reached. Plemons tweeted: "I spoke to a source with DIRECT knowledge on the Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury fight talks this morning," Plemons wrote yesterday. "And they CONFIRMED that Tommy has now been offered 2.5 MILLION DOLLARS to fight Jake. $500,000 more than the first offer."
To this, Paul responded by describing reports as being accurate, although but there has been no official announcement as of yet. Paul quote tweeted the post, saying: "Cannot confirm nor deny this accurate statement. What I can confirm is Tommy Fury is never going to see the kind of money he is being offered to step in the ring with me. And yet he’s still on the run." He also used the hashtag "boxer".
It has been a week of announcements for Paul, with the 25-year old having signed up to fight in MMA with the Professional Fighters League in 2023. Paul has also accepted an advisory role with the company which adds to his vocal criticism of UFC chief Dana White and it is as yet unclear how this will influence negotiations with Fury.
