Jake Paul demands Tommy Fury gets his "f****** visa" to ensure fight goes ahead

Jake Paul has implored Tommy Fury to "get to the embassy" so that he can be granted a visa to save their August 6 fight date.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer has organised a second fight date with Fury after the Brit pulled out of their first event with a rib injury, but this one now looks to be in jeopardy as well. Fury was denied access to the United States earlier this week, where he was supposed to conduct a launch press conference alongside Paul for their rescheduled bout.

But he claims that he was denied an ESTA visa, which wouldn't have been sufficient for him to work in America. And now Paul as demanded that Fury take the necessary steps to get himself into America in time to allow them to fight on August 6 at Madison Square Garden.

Paul still travelled from his training base in Puerto Rico to New York today, and posted a video mocking Fury and telling him what he must do to save the fight. " Tommy Fury is avoiding going to the embassy to get his visa," he said in the caption of his video. "It’s been 36 hours with no action from his side, and per Tommy Fumbles style he missed the press conference today in NYC."

There have been long-standing issues with Fury's involvement in the fight, dating back to their initial launch press conference in November of last year. The Brit was scheduled to appear alongside Sugarhill Steward for that event, but flew home due to a family emergency, ultimately agreeing to a zoom press conference from London.

He then pulled out of his fight with Paul after suffering a rib injury in training just two weeks out from their Florida fight night. Instead, the American faced former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in a rematch, while Fury took on Daniel Bocianski the following April on his brother Tyson's undercard.

"Tommy, where the f*** you at?" Paul asked in his video, which showed him going for a run in New York as he continues his fight camp. "We're in New York City.

"We were supposed to have the press conference today, s*** I'm still getting my miles in while you're still making excuses! Get to the embassy and go get your f***ing visa, I'm going to knock you the f*** out on August 6."

Paul and Fury's fight will be supported by a co-headliner featuring Amanda Serrano's unified featherweight title fight with Brendan Carabajal. And a cancellation for such a massive event would likely cost the YouTube star, who is promoting the event under his Most Valuable Promotions banner, a massive amount of money.

He already told Mirror Fighting back in April that losing their December date, even with the Woodley replacement, cost him millions. And he stands to lose out again should Fury be unable to circumvent his block from going to America.
