Jake Paul has demanded YouTube rival KSI apologises to commentator Wade Plemons after his fiery rant on social media.
Influencer KSI has launched his own Misfits Boxing promotional banner having returned to the ring in a mission to settle his rivalry with Paul. The pair have regularly traded verbal barbs on social media over a huge potential showdown but negotiations are yet to yield an agreement.
With stakes higher than ever, KSI became angered on Twitter after commentator Plemons, who has worked on his Misfits Boxing fights, suggested Paul's rematch with Tommy Fury would generate more pay-per-view buys than his eventual contest with the British YouTuber.
He produced an angry rant, which read: "This man acts like he knows everything about boxing. He doesn’t know s***. You’re not that guy. Can’t believe Sharky let this snake into my box. F*** off." He then continued: “This Wade guy plays all sides. Trying to please everyone. You are so fake, omg. F*** you and everything you stand for, you two-faced ****. F*** Wade man.”
The posts went viral with everyone seemingly stunned by the turn of events, with several from the label reacting including Elle Brooke and Deen The Great. Paul produced his first reaction to the outburst tweeting: "Such insecure clowns. Wade is quality. Plays it down the middle. Says things about me I don’t like, but that just means he’s keeping his opinions real. Now back to my vacation."
He then added: "This you? Talking about a REPORTER that worked DAZN shows? You are regressing maturity wise. You remind me of me when I was 19, but you about to be 30. Apologise to Wade and fire the unprofessional manager."

KSI later deleted several points of the outburst but pointed out Paul's previous post which suggested that people should cut loose people on both sides of the rivalry. Paul and KSI have regularly disagreed on subjects including fight negotiations, but did reach an agreement to a winner-takes-all bout on social media.
However this will likely depend on the outcome of Paul's planned sequel with Fury, with KSI set to challenge the ex-Love Island star if he beats the 'Problem Child' again. The American's promotion released an update on negotiations with KSI in a statement.
"MVP sent the original offer to Misfits for Jake Paul vs KSI on November 28, 2022 for the fight to occur in December of 2023 per Misfits desire to have KSI get at least two more fights in for experience," a spokesperson for Paul's promotion said. "We also agreed to do it in the UK as Jake didn’t want any hurdles.
"[This is] even though Jake is clearly the A-Side by any box office metric, internet search trends or KSI's own words where he consistently says Jake is his ultimate goal. We offered 10 rounds, an 18x18 ring, 185lb, sanctioned by BBBofC, 50/50 deal. Both fighters as A-Side, splitting A-side designations."
