Jorge Masvidal confronted Jake Paul in Miami after clashing with the YouTuber-turned-boxer on social media.
Former UFC star Masvidal showed up at Paul's betting-company warehouse as security was forced to intervene during the confrontation. Paul could be heard asking Masvidal, "Serious? Why are you trying to cause trouble? Troublemaker." Masvidal then responded to the YouTuber: “Nah, it’s my city.”
Paul then quizzed Masvidal on recent comments he made about him being an "idiot" as he said: “It’s your city, so you own this right here? You’ve been saying a lot on Ariel Helwani. You called me a punk b****.” Masvidal then said back, “I did.” The clip of the two confronting each other then cuts off.
Masvidal and Paul were on good terms two years ago as the former helped 'The Problem Child' prepare for his boxing fight against Ben Askren. The duo then had a falling out after Paul started a feud with UFC boss Dana White, something Masvidal took issue to. A fight between Masvidal and Paul was a possibility after Masvidal retired from MMA in April, but he downplayed the match-up after Paul's loss to Tommy Fury.
Although Masvidal has never competed in the ring during his combat sports career, he made a violent prediction for a potential fight with Paul before eventually ruling it out. “I would have broke right through his f****** face because at the end of the day, when he was a Disney princess living that life, I was already earning my stripes and competing," Masvidal told Sporting News.

"From the backyards, all the way to headlining shows in Miami. This dude and me is more just like him to boost his name up and stuff like that. Especially now that I got a fight coming up coincidentally he wants to call me out. This guy sees me and he runs from me.”
Paul is currently preparing to fight Masvidal's former UFC opponent Nate Diaz as they meet in the ring on August 5 in Texas. Masvidal won the inaugural 'BMF' title by stopping Diaz when they fought in November 2019. Paul's confrontation with Masvidal isn't his first with a high-profile fighter in the Sunshine State this year, as 'The Problem Child' was confronted by Floyd Mayweather with "50 dudes" after a Miami Heat game but later admitted to the run-in being staged.
