Jake Paul casts doubt on KSI grudge fight by insisting YouTube rival is "unreliable"

Jake Paul isn't confident that YouTube rival KSI will fight him if he gets past Tommy Fury next month.

Paul and KSI have been feuding for years and a fight between the pair is expected to take place later this year, if the American can beat Love Island star Fury when they meet on February 26 in Saudi Arabia. 'The Problem Child' is still doubtful the fight will take place however, as he labelled KSI "unreliable" like his other rival Fury, who has pulled out of two previous meetings against him.

"I'm ready whenever, wherever, we can run it but the guy is unreliable. He is kind of like Tommy Fury, who knows if they actually want to fight me but I want all the smoke. I'm going to be a world champion so if KSI wants to fight, I'll step off to the side, pick up a bunch of money and rob the bank. Then I'll get back onto my path to becoming a world champion," Paul told talkSPORT.

KSI made his boxing return after a three-year absence last August with a farcical 'two fights in one night', both of which he won by stoppage. 'The Nightmare' knocked out fellow content creator FaZe Temperrr, but like his last two fights it was sanctioned as an exhibition bout. The Brit recently laid out his terms for a fight with Paul when speaking with Mirror Fighting.

"I'd love it to be 176lb, 177lb, but 180lb sounds perfectly fair, maybe even slap a rehydration clause. I know he'd want that," KSI said. "It has to be in the UK, I think I'm definitely the A-Side, I walk second, ring size I think it should be a nice 20-foot ring and I think that's it that's on my mind. I don't think it should be 60-40 in anyone's favour or anything. 50-50 makes sense."

"I think he wants to fight, that's what I believe. I think he just wants a percentage in something to act as if he's an entrepreneur himself. When it comes to being an entrepreneur he's just not on my level, when it comes to clout he's not on my level, when it comes to anything he's not on my level. I'm just showcasing what I can do with my opponents until eventually when I do fight Jake Paul it shows that he's not on my level.

KSI has just one professional fight under his belt, winning a controversial split decision against Logan Paul the year after their 2018 white-collar fight. Paul has gone unbeaten in six professional fights and picked up the biggest win of his career last October against UFC legend Anderson Silva.
