Fuming John Fury has demanded Jake Paul honour his "all or nothing" bet after the YouTube star was defeated by his son Tommy.
Former Love Island star Tommy Fury finally stepped in to the ring with his long-term rival in a grudge match two years in the making on Sunday, and the pressure was on after Paul raised the stakes during the build-up to the fight. The former Disney actor challenged the brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury to bet his potential winnings from the bout on himself. If he lost he would have received nothing for the battle in the Middle East, but after the split decision victory he was set to receive double.
However, since then the Paul camp have not paid out on the bet and Fury Sr has taken to social media to demand the money be paid to Tommy. He warned Paul not to use the lack of a written contract to get out of the pre-fight deal.
Taking to his Instagram page, Fury said: “Good morning world, Jake Paul and family. Back home and well rested, head (is) back on business. Jake, you know what I’m going to do.
"We had a deal mate, we had a handshake, we said we’d box for free if we got defeated and you said you'd pay double if Jake beat you. What I am going to do it ask you to honour, step up to the plate and pay your bill.
"We had a gentleman's agreement, a handshake in front of millions of people on world television. Do not come out with all the contract bull****, all I've got is my word. I gave it to you in front of millions of people, and so did you. Pay your bill."
