Jake Paul backed to "f*** up" UFC star Paddy Pimblett in boxing fight

UFC star Sean O'Malley has predicted that Paddy Pimblett would get "f***ed up" by Jake Paul if the pair met in the ring.

'The Baddy' has been involved in a feud with YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul, with the UFC star accusing him of "fixing" his fights, including his latest win against UFC legend Anderson Silva. It's not the first rivalry that 'The Problem Child' has stirred up with a UFC fighter, previously crossing paths with the likes of Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz.

Pimblett, who recently won a controversial decision against Jared Gordon at UFC 282, was called out for a spar by Paul as the American also put $1million on the line. Their ongoing feud has led to fans theorising how a fight between the rivals would go, with O'Malley predicting it wouldn't end well for Pimblett.

"Jake's a lot bigger than Paddy, a better and cleaner boxer. Jake probably f***s Paddy up in a boxing match, especially after watching his fight with Gordon. It's weird because Paddy has decent technique but when it comes to throwing punches in the cage, he throws from his hip or doesn't land the punches cleanly," O'Malley said on his podcast.

"There was a picture going round with five different frames of Paddy throwing punches, all the punches were landing on Gordon's gloves. There's a difference between finding people's chins, being accurate and sniping, then just throwing just to f***ing throw and land on something which was a lot of Gordon's gloves."

Paul reacted to Pimblett's win against Gordon by taking aim at UFC boss Dana White, criticising his treatment of other fighters in the promotion. "Being a UFC fighter, with zero rights and no control, is amazing if you are one of Dana White’s favourites," he wrote. "You can even do a food review for free to drive up his views. What a league. You all deserve better."

Pimblett said Paul, who usually fights at 190lb, would need to weigh around 175lb if they were to meet in the ring. The UFC star even joked that he would consider taking Paul down and kicking him in the head if they sparred, stating: "If I felt like it though, when I was sparring him I’d just pick him up and drop him on his head couldn’t I? Just shoot in, pick him up, drop him on his fog, and then kick him in the face on the floor if I wanted to.
