Jake Paul and Hasim Rahman Jr got into a heated face-off two years after their last meeting ahead of their fight next month.
Rahman Jr was joined by his heavyweight champion father on stage at Madison Square Garden where he went head-to-head with Paul to launch their August 6 fight. And it got aggressive after the pair argued during the press conference over footage from their previous spar, which Paul released a snippet of to promote the bout.
The social media star's brother Logan was tasked with keeping the two fighters apart, but luckily there was no pushing or shoving between the pair. Rahman Jr left the stage first, after jawing with the younger Paul during the intense stare-down.
"This is what I do," Paul said of his change of opponent, with Tommy Fury pulling out of the originally scheduled bout. "I take hard challenges, I challenge myself more and more with each fight, increase the level of opposition and give the fans what they want. People want me to 'fight a real boxer', here we go.
"This guy is bigger than me, he has more experience, there's no reason why I should win this but I'm proving to the world that if you set your mind to something and you truly believe in yourself and mentally low-key insane, you will win."
But Rahman Jr argues that Paul has been "stacking the deck" in his own favour, and selling fans on an idea that isn't completely legitimate. The heavyweight is 12-1 as a professional, but will have to fight at least 14lb lighter than his last weigh-in when he faces Paul due to a rehydration clause.
Rahman Jr tipped the scales at 224 as recently as April for his bout with McKenzie Morrisson, but will have to make the 200lb cruiserweight limit to face Paul. And he has also signed a re-hydration clause stopping him from ballooning back over 210lb for fight night.
"You're stacking the deck," Rahman Jr said. "You can't do that, that's out. You don't know how much I'm going to weigh on the night of the fight. You keep calling me a heavyweight.

"Why do you keep calling me a heavyweight, talking about how I'm a heavyweight when you're not fighting me at heavyweight? If you was really that, you would have fought me at heavyweight.
"There wouldn't have been no 'oh bring him down to 200lb and make sure he can't go over 210,' come on man. You saw I just weighed 224lb in April. Stop playing with me, you put a 10lb rehydration clause in the contract, shut your a** up."
Paul attempted to draw his rival into a bet, but the 12-1 boxer refused, citing his Muslim faith as the reason why he doesn't gamble. The YouTuber claims he has got the Instagram handle "ILetMyDadDown" locked down, and wanted Rahman Jr to change his name if he loses, but he refused.
