Jake Paul accuses UFC boss Dana White of behaving like an ex-girlfriend in latest row

Jake Paul has accused UFC president Dana White of acting like an ex-girlfriend who hasn't moved on after hitting out at a reporter for asking about the YouTube boxer.

Paul and White have enjoyed a long-running feud and have clashed several times, particularly over the issue of fighters' pay. White was asked last week about Paul's prospective fight with UFC legend Anderson Silva, and while he praised the match-up, he expressed his frustration at being asked the question.

"Stop asking me about Jake Paul, you guys. I don't give a s*** what Jake Paul does. I know you love this shit, and I know it gives you clicks, but come on. Come on," White said. "The guy has nothing to do with my business. He has nothing to do with my business. He doesn't fight for me. He's not even in the same f***ing sport as me. I don't want to talk about him anymore."

Paul, who is due to fight Silva in Phoenix on October 29, has now taken to social media to respond, writing: "Sounds like an ex who still isn't able to get over you. Why so angry? Turning red. To all MMA media...you can ask me anything you want. That's your job and I respect it."

Paul will announce his fight with Silva on Tuesday and will hope the Brazilian will make it to the ring next month after the YouTube star saw fights with Tommy Fury and Hasim Rahman Jr fall through. Fury was unable to travel to the United States for a press conference while the clash with Rahman was cancelled following a row over the weight limit.

Silva has been granted a boxing license by the Arizona commission and will fight for the third time as a professional having previously beaten fellow UFC legend Tito Ortiz and former boxing world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Paul will compete for the sixth time but will again face an opponent who is not a recognised boxer.

The 25-year-old has previously faced fellow social media star AnEsonGib, retired NBA star Nate Robinson, former MMA stand-out Ben Askren and former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. Paul met Woodley twice last year, earning a points win in August before knocking out his rival four months later.
