Jake Paul accepts KSI's offer of winner-takes-all boxing fight at Wembley

Jake Paul has accepted KSI's offer of a winner-takes-all fight at Wembley next year.

The YouTube rivals have a long-running rivalry which dates back to KSI's two fights with Paul's elder brother Logan. The pair have traded insults for three years without agreeing to fight but now appear close to an agreement.

KSI had tweeted earlier on Monday: "I'm going to send you a contract. We fight next year. Wembley Stadium. Winner of the fight takes all. 100 per cent of the purse will be on the line. Put your money where your mouth is and let’s finally end this. Will you accept Jake Paul?"

Paul later replied: "Good morning guy 'fighting' rapper with t-shirt on. Your hometown and winner takes all. 1000 per cent I accept, but one condition… you have to reply and admit that as of TODAY when it comes to boxing, I am better." KSI replied: As of today in boxing you're better. Let's run it b****."

KSI and Jake Paul have shared a long-term rivalry in YouTube boxing (DAZN)

Both Paul and KSI will fight at least once before they meet in the ring with the latter scheduled to face debutant Swarmz in London on August 27. KSI was initially due to take on Alex Wassabi who defeated the Londoner's brother Deji earlier this year.

But the American pulled out last weekend with concussion and has been replaced by rapper Swarmz with whom KSI released a music track in 2020. Paul had offered to step in for Wassabi but KSI claimed he had already contracted Swarmz.

Paul was due to take on Hasim Rahman Jr in New York last weekend but cancelled the fight following a row over the weight limit. The 25-year-old is now due to return to the ring in October but is unlikely to hand Rahman Jr a second chance.

Rahman Jr himself was a replacement for Tommy Fury who was unable to fly to America for a press conference last month and was ultimately ruled out of the fight. But Paul is unlikely to purse that fight either, with UFC legend Anderson Silva one possibility for his ring return.
