Jake Ankers says he was 'so nervous' about moving into Charlotte Crosby's Sunderland home - 'it's like starting again'

Charlotte Crosby's partner, Jake Ankers, has detailed how 'nervous' he was about relocating from Manchester to Sunderland to be with his love, in a brand-new BBC Three series.

In episode three of Charlotte in Sunderland, which only became available to watch on the iPlayer today, the show covers Jake's 'suitcase by suitcase' moving journey - as he slowly but surely transferred his belongings to Charlotte's home in the North East.

With 32-year-old Charlotte pregnant with daughter Alba Jean, and the relationship between the two flying high, the couple decided it was the right time to live in the same home together.

But Jake was admittedly nervous about the set-up, leaving his deep-seated life and relationships in Manchester behind. Speaking on the show, 33-year-old Jake, said: "I am so nervous," with Charlotte exclaiming: "Nervous? But why?"

Jake continued: "Well because obviously I've got such a lovely set-up in Manchester. I've got like, where I get my hair cut, my gym, car wash, friends, family...." before Charlotte interrupted: "I don't think car wash is really that important. There's a car wash up the road from my house!"

Jake laughed: "Well it's not for you because you never get it washed, but I get it washed twice a week. I've just got a good relationship. You've noticed now, whenever we go out in Manchester, I know someone."

He added: "It's just nice to have that set-up and have a personal relationship with people and local businesses. I've built up a nice life for myself in Manchester, and now it's like starting again."

Charlotte then asked him if he wasn't excited, with Jake replying: "No I'm excited but I am nervous at the same time."

In a clip where the two were sorting out Charlotte's walk-in wardrobe, Charlotte later added: "Well Jake, there is no going back now. You are officially moved in and I am officially having your child."
