The Green Bay Packers got a bunch of good injury news ahead of Sunday’s showdown with the Arizona Cardinals. Cornerback Jaire Alexander, receiver Christian Watson and left tackle Rasheed Walker are all active in Week 6.
Alexander has missed two straight games with a groin injury. Watson is back after missing only one game with an ankle injury. Walker was a late add to the injury report on Friday with a knee injury. All three were questionable but will play Sunday. So will first-round pick Jordan Morgan, who is active for the first time since injuring his shoulder in Week 2.
Here are the Packers’ six inactive players:
S Kitan Oladapo
DL Brenton Cox Jr.
T Andre Dillard
T Travis Glover
TE John FitzPatrick
DL Devonte Wyatt
Outside of Wyatt, the other five players are healthy scratches.
Alexander should get a bunch of matchups against top rookie receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., while Watson should provide a deep threat and run-blocking asset in his first game back. Walker has played every snap for the Packers at left tackle. Morgan could return to a rotation with Sean Rhyan at right guard.
The Cardinals will be without kicker Matt Prater, who is inactive. Arizona elevated kicker Chad Ryland from the practice squad to handle kicking duties. Ryland worked out for the Packers earlier this month.
The Packers and Cardinals will kick off from Lambeau Field at noon CT.
