Jailed so far in February: Offenders brought to justice in Notts

The start of February saw eight men before the courts to be sentenced for a variety of shocking crimes.

In one a victim bore the brunt of a robber's drunkenness after defendant Lee Thompson became convinced his bank card had been delivered to the man's home.

After the terrifying robbery, Thompson was brought to justice and sent to jail.

And another awful case involved a serial conman who swindled £100,000 by stealing people's identities after intercepting their post to fund a lavish lifestyle.

Kevin Castle, 56, who was previously nicknamed the "millionaire shoplifter" and the "Casanova conman", went on a year-long crime spree across Nottinghamshire. Now he is languishing behind bars.
