Queen's Park's Jai Quitongo has hit out at alleged 'sectarian and racist' abuse he suffered during the Championship play-off final against Airdrie.
The Glasgow side finished 21 points behind Ian Murray's men in League One this season but prevailed 3-2 over two legs against the Diamonds.
It was 1-1 from the first 90 at Firhill before Simon Murray's double cancelled out Rhys McCabe 's free-kick, following 120 minutes of action in North Lanarkshire.
Quitongo was in a party mood after the game and hit out at his hosts and the alleged abuse he suffered.
It's a second promotion in 12 months for Queen's after winning the League Two title last year.
He tweeted: "Back to back promotions. After the racist and sectarian abuse I received Thursday night, it’s only right.
"Here’s a toast to you and all your tears Airdrie Football Club."
His brother, Rico Quitongo, spent the first half of this season at the Diamonds and allegedly suffered racial abuse in September's meeting at the Penny Cars Stadium between these teams.
The New Broomfield club dropped an investigation into the allegation in October, saying there was 'insufficient evidence,' with their former left-back now happy they will stay down.
After posting several laughing emojis, he tweeted: "Can’t keep us down. My brother, so proud of you."
