The Jacksonville Jaguars’ season ended Sunday with a 28-20 loss to the Tennessee Titans. After finishing 9-8, the Jaguars are set to pick 17th in the 2024 NFL draft.
While the playoffs still have to happen before the entire order is decided, the top 18 selections for teams that didn’t reach the postseason are officially set. Here’s the order after Week 18:
- Chicago Bears (via Panthers): 2-15 (.522)
- Washington Commanders: 4-13 (.512)
- New England Patriots: 4-13 (.522)
- Arizona Cardinals: 4-13 (.561)
- Los Angeles Chargers: 5-12 (.529)
- New York Giants: 6-11 (.512)
- Tennessee Titans: 6-11 (.522)
- Atlanta Falcons: 7-10 (.429)
- Chicago Bears: 7-10 (.464)
- New York Jets: 7-10 (.502)
- Minnesota Vikings: 7-10 (.509)
- Denver Broncos: 8-9 (.488)
- Las Vegas Raiders: 8-9 (.488)
- New Orleans Saints: 9-8 (.433)
- Indianapolis Colts: 9-8 (.491)
- Seattle Seahawks: 9-8 (.512)
- Jacksonville Jaguars: 9-8 (.533)
- Cincinnati Bengals: 9-8 (.574)
Selections 19-32 will be decided by the finishing order of the 14 teams that reached the postseason. The six teams eliminated in the wild card round will pick Nos. 19-24 and so on before the Super Bowl teams get picks No. 31 and 32.
Last offseason, after winning the AFC South title and a playoff game, the Jaguars only did light tinkering with the roster. Just one starter was replaced and — by in large — the team ran it back with the same lineup. That won’t be the case again in the 2024 offseason, as Jacksonville clearly has tough decisions to make.
