The Jacksonville Jaguars’ terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day in Week 3 against the Houston Texans was highlighted by mistakes and errors.
Despite racking up more than 400 yards of total offense, the Jaguars offense was bogged down by a pair of turnovers, dropped passes, and untimely penalties. The Jacksonville defense and special teams blew it too with critical mistakes that led to massive plays for the Texans.

Here are the Jacksonville players who stood out and struggled most on Sunday, according to PFF:
5 highest grades on offense
- QB Trevor Lawrence: 83.3
- C Luke Fortner: 72.3
- OT Anton Harrison: 71.1
- G Brandon Scherff: 70.7
- RB Travis Etienne Jr: 69.5
Lawrence has taken plenty of criticism over the last 24 hours, which isn’t surprising for the quarterback of a team that’s struggling offensively. But the grades make it clear that the Jaguars are wasting strong play from their quarterback with drops and penalties.
The grades also reflect a relatively good day for a Jacksonville offensive line that has been under the microscope.

- WR Calvin Ridley: 51.3
- WR Tim Jones: 52.4
- TE Brenton Strange: 53.0
- RB D’Ernest Johnson: 56.1
- WR Jamal Agnew: 57.6
With Zay Jones out of action, plenty of the Jaguars’ other offensive skill position players didn’t step up. Most notably, Ridley had a day to forget with two drops and two false starts.

- DL Roy Robertson-Harris: 73.2
- OLB Josh Allen: 70.8
- LB Devin Lloyd: 70.6
- S Andre Cisco: 64.2
- LB Foye Oluokun: 63.8
The Jaguars’ defensive front held Texans running back Dameon Pierce to just 2.2 yards per carry on 14 attempts. Robertson-Harris and inside linebackers Lloyd and Oluokun played a significant hand in that.

- OLB Yasir Abdullah: 29.2
- DL Angelo Blackson: 33.7
- LB Chad Muma: 38.4
- DL Adam Gotsis: 40.9
- DL Jeremiah Ledbetter: 43.7
Abdullah, a fifth-round rookie, and Blackson, a late August addition, aren’t surprising names on this list. The rough day from Muma in his moments on the field was a missed opportunity for the second-year linebacker to show progress.

- CB Darious Williams: 61.3
- OT Walker Little: 68.5
- G Ben Bartch: 59.6
- RB Tank Bigsby: 72.3 (9 snaps)
Williams was in the vicinity of two massive coverage busts, but the grades (and coach Doug Pederson) mostly laid the fault on Jenkins. Pro Football Focus also thought Bartch was the weak link on the line with Little narrowly missing a spot in the top five.
Bigsby wasn’t listed in the top five above because he didn’t play 10 snaps, but the rookie’s strong performance in his brief moments on the field wasn’t unnoticed. He fought his way to a 9-yard gain before halftime and then scored the Jaguars’ first touchdown in more than six quarters.
