Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little was named to the Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA) 2024 All-Rookie team.
Little was drafted by the Jaguars in the sixth round of this past April’s draft out of Arkansas.
The kicker position can be one where there’s a steep transition when making the jump from college to the NFL, and oftentimes, the result is rookies not finding success right away.
However, when it comes to Little, that wasn’t the case. He finished his rookie season making all 27 of his extra point attempts, and he was 27-for-29 on field goal attempts.
On kicks from 40-49 yards, Little was 8-for-9 and from 50-plus he was 5-for-6.
This included Little knocking through a 49-yarder with just 17 seconds left on the clock to give the Jaguars a three-point win in Week 5 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Rookies aside for a second, Little was one of just 14 kickers in all of football to not miss an extra point in 2024 and he ranked sixth in field goal percentage, making 93.1% of his attempts.
In addition to Little making the PFWA’s All-Rookie team, so did Jaguars’ wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr.
The PFWA has voted on the All-Rookie team since 1974 and is comprised of writers who cover all 32 NFL teams.
