The Jacksonville Jaguars announced that they have completed an interview with Tavita Pritchard for their offensive coordinator opening.
Pritchard has been the Washington Commanders quarterbacks coach for the last two seasons, which includes working with the soon-to-be Rookie of the Year Jayden Daniels.
In his rookie season, Daniels completed 68% of his passes at 7.4 yards per attempt with 30 touchdowns to just 10 interceptions, as he led the Commanders to the NFC Championship Game.
In addition to working with Daniels, Pritchard also worked alongside of Washington offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury, who successfully built the Commanders’ offense around Daniels to maximize his strengths, and operates a creative and adaptable scheme. This was an offense that ranked fifth in scoring in 2024 and 11th in yards per play.
Before joining Washington in 2023, Pritchard was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Stanford from 2018-2022.
Jaguars’ head coach Liam Coen confirmed on Monday that he will be calling the plays for the offense. A top priority for Coen and his future offensive coordinator will be maximizing Trevor Lawrence and his talents.
Along with Pritchard, the Jaguars have also interviewed LA Rams’ passing game coordinator Nate Scheelhaase for the offensive coordinator opening.
