The brunt of the offseason is in the books and training camp is underway. Join us for a player-by-player review of the Jaguars roster ahead of the 2023 season.
Michael Dogbe never quite found a consistent spot in the Arizona Cardinals defense.
The former Temple lineman was a seventh-round pick in the 2019 NFL draft and saw limited snaps in his first two seasons before becoming a rotational player in 2021 and 2022, although he never played 300 snaps in a season.
In the offseason, he signed a one-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but his chances of playing more with his new team aren’t strong either.
With several players ahead of him on the depth chart, Dogbe is fighting for a roster spot and will have to prove he’s more valuable than the likes of Tyler Lacy, Jeremiah Ledbetter, and De’Shaan Dixon.
Contract (2023): $1,080,000 base salary, $940,000 cap hit.
Acquired: The Jaguars signed Dogbe as a veteran free agent on March 27, 2023.
- 34.8 (2022 – AZ)
- 50.6 (2021 – AZ)
- 47.8 (2020 – AZ)
- 56.2 (2019 – AZ)

Quote: “I always like to say I always have something to prove, I’ve always had the underdog mentality. Even just going to Temple, everybody says one thing or the other about Temple, but we always have the chips on our shoulders.” – Dogbe
