A string of top hires and promotions have been announced by companies based across the North West over the last week.
The likes of Jaguar Land Rover, BDO and CBRE are among those to have made major moves.

Hugh Jones Solicitors
Hugh Jones Solicitors has announced two promotions at its Manchester office.
Court of protection specialist David Jones has been promoted from senior associate solicitor to director, having joined the firm in 2016.
Elsewhere in the team, director Chris Gallagher has been promoted to head of court of protection.
Managing director Liz Hughes said: "Both David and Chris have demonstrated extraordinary talent during their time at the firm.
"Colleagues and clients alike benefit from their knowledge, experience and hardworking nature and their promotions are well and truly deserved."
SSP Health
Wigan-based SSP Health has appointed Mary Delaney as its chief financial officer.
The hire comes as the company has added Andy Scaife as its new CEO and Amanda Carey-McDermott as chief transformation officer earlier this year.
Mr Scaife said: "It’s an exciting time to be joining SSP Health. In direct response to challenges with healthcare resource in the UK, SSP Health’s mission is to drive efficiencies and innovation in general practice to deliver sustainable GP services for the future.
"We believe that our model of freeing up time for GPs, nurses and practice teams to deliver excellent patient care is the future of general practice in the UK and something we aim to roll out nationwide. We look forward to many more practices joining the SSP family."
Yumi
Salford Quays-based chewable vitamin brand Yumi has announced the appointment of Sam Gill as managing director.
Mr Gill has been the company's head of marketing since joining the business in 2021.
He will take up his new position on January 1, 2023.
Mr Gill said: "It’s great to finally announce this change. I’m grateful to the guys - Seb, Josh and Adam - for their faith in me and looking forward to working with them for the next phase of Yumi.
"There is lots of growth opportunity for the business in 2023, and we’re all excited to get started in the new year."
Taylor Lynn Corporation
Manchester-based professional event planner the Taylor Lynn Corporation (TLC) has recruited two new team members and promoted Laura Callaghan to the role of senior events producer.
Joining the events team is Amy Brown who has previously worked at The Edwardian Manchester hotel and Peter Street Kitchen.
Monique Hogan has also joined, having worked at The General Medical Council.
BDO
Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP has added to its employment tax team with the appointment of Laurence Simms as director.
At BDO, Mr Simms will be responsible for supporting clients across the North region to help them effectively manage their HMRC compliance requirements when employing and engaging a workforce. He joins from PwC.
Mr Simms said: "As HMRC rightly focuses its efforts on workers’ statutory pay entitlement reviews, including NMW, holiday pay, and sickness pay, my time and attention will be spent on ensuring our clients do not fall foul of these confusing and often contradictory pay governance regulations.
"The continued push for a more flexible/agile workforce brings with it a demand for real-time compensation, which will require employers to pay their workforce more frequently.
"Unfortunately, by satisfying their employees, companies will be putting greater strain on their payroll systems and payroll teams who are the last defence in ensuring they are a HMRC compliant taxpayer."
Slater Heelis
Law firm Slater Heelis has promoted Rhian Owen to head of corporate commercial in Manchester.
Simon Wallwork, the previous head of the department, will continue to focus on client work.
Rhian Owen said: "My plan for the new-look Corporate Commercial team at Slater Heelis is to set ourselves ambitious growth targets for 2023, not least with life sciences clients.
"We are equally at home working in academia and big pharma, and we know the legislative landscape and nuances of such markets inside and out."
Vita Group
Cheshire-based property company Vita Group has appointed Chris Jones as group energy manager.
Mr Jones joins the business with over 14 years’ experience in the sector, working for McColl’s, Selfridges and Johnson Controls operations and engineering teams.
He said: "Vita Group has established its reputation as an urban regeneration specialist, creating thriving communities.
"As the business continues to scale with developments in the UK and abroad, it is important to find ways to reduce our consumption and reduce our impact with greener energy, helping to create more sustainable communities."
CBRE
CBRE has appointed Joe Rigby as head of office agency for the northern region in Manchester.
Mr Rigby has been with CBRE since 2014 and took over as the northern region’s head of occupier services in 2019.
Mr Rigby said: "To be taking the helm of the northern Office Agency team is incredibly exciting and I am looking forward to working across our whole client portfolio to bring strategic advice and vision to projects and organisations."
Jaguar Land Rover
Jaguar Land Rover, which has major operations in the North West, has appointed Richard Molyneux as acting chief financial officer.
Mr Molyneux has worked at Jaguar Land Rover, as finance director, operations, for over six years.
He will join the Jaguar Land Rover executive board, leading the business’s finance team, following Adrian Mardell’s appointment as interim chief executive.
River Capital
Liverpool-based River Capital has hired Martin Sutton as a venture partner.
He joins having spent the previous six years at Manchester-based AI business PEAK.
Mr Sutton said: "This is a dream role for me at River Capital as I’m passionate about helping early-stage AI and data focussed businesses to achieve their full potential.
"Coupled with the fact that fund: AI has a laser focus on Northern businesses made this a no brainer for me, as I’ve always believed we have amazing tech firms in the North but they are sometimes overlooked and underserved compared to their London peers."
The Signature Group
Manchester-based The Signature Group has hired partner William Bankes as a partner at its MSA Signature arm.
The group has also appointed Peter Townsend as a director.
It has also appointed Nabil Patel and Shenal Wijetunge into its tax innovation and incentives management team.
