Phillips was lauded for his time spent visiting and impacting the lives of incarcerated youth in South Florida as a rookie, and he’s continued that work this year.

With the announcement, the team produced a video showcasing some of the amazing things that he’s done.

According to the NFL’s website, the winner of the award will receive $250,000 donated to a charity of their choice while all other nominees receive up to $40,000 to their charity.
