Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has admitted that he is looking forward to working with incoming manager Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.
Ten Hag, 52, was officially installed as United's new permanent manager in April following months of speculation about who would replace Ralf Rangnick this summer. The Dutchman was identified as the club's preferred candidate and they successfully reached an agreement with him to prize him away from Ajax.
Renowned for delivering consistent success at the Amsterdam giants, Ten Hag will be hoping for similar results once he gets his feet under the table at Old Trafford. However, this promises to be the biggest job of his career so far, with huge changes needing to be made across the board this summer, following a wretched 2021/22 campaign for the club.

United have failed to meet expectations and will be fighting to secure Europa League qualification for next season when they travel to Crystal Palace on the final day of the season next Sunday. But Ten Hag's impending arrival has shifted some of the dark clouds that have been hovering above Old Trafford, with his arrival set to mark the beginning of a new era.
For Sancho, who joined the club from Borussia Dortmund almost a year ago, he is excited to work with Ten Hag and see what he brings to the table. He has also admitted that he hopes his own career at Old Trafford will "take off soon" following a difficult first year back in England.
"To start again fresh, with a new manager coming in, we're looking forward to seeing what his ideas and plans for the team are," Sancho told Premier League Productions. "You only have to think positively.
"My career is only getting started and, hopefully, it will take off soon. This has been a difficult season, especially being a Manchester United player, with what the club has achieved over the years.
"United is known for winning trophies and being up there with the best. This season has been a difficult one for all of us, but I think we still have to show belief again."
Following his big-money arrival from Dortmund last July, Sancho has struggled to hit the high notes as often as he would have liked this term. He struggled for regular minutes under former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and has scored just five goals in 38 appearances for the club.
