The Baltimore Ravens suffered a devastating loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game by the final score of 17-10. Many didn’t expect Baltimore to lose the contest, and because of it their 2023 season expectations fell short.
During locker clean out, Ravens outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney mentioned how the loss hurt so much because he believed they had the team do reach and win the Super Bowl. He also mentioned the bond he developed with the players in the locker room, which played a big part in the emotions of everything as well.
“We had the team. That’s why it hurts the worse because you get in this locker room, you build a bond with a group of men all year long that you know that’s giving it their all and are going to go war with you. And when you fall short like that, it kind of hurts the worst.”
