The Ravens are adding depth at edge rusher, signing Jadeveon Clowney to a one-year deal.
Clowney, 30, spent the last two seasons with the Cleveland Browns, logging 38 solo tackles and five pass breakups over 26 games.
Upon signing his new deal, the former No. 1 overall pick said the “chance to play for a winner” and “not having to face Lamar Jackson” were primary reasons for coming to Baltimore.
“Guys just really want to win… I think they got a great team, a great chance to win, and I just want to be part of it.”@clownejd talked about why he joined the Ravens and that he’s glad he won’t have to chase after @Lj_era8 anymore. pic.twitter.com/VUc33oMuIt

With Baltimore leaning on Odafe Oweh and David Ojabo, Clowney can focus on being a situational pass rusher, while SAM linebacker Tyus Bowser figures to be in the mix.
