Jade Goody and Jeff Brazier's son Bobby makes BBC EastEnders debut as fans make same remark

Bobby Brazier had EastEnders fans making the same remarks as he made his debut. The son of Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody made his first appearance in Walford during Tuesday night's edition of the BBC One soap.

It was announced back in July that the 19-year-old had been cast in the long-running programme as Freddie Slater, the son of Maureen 'Little Mo' Slater. The character of Freddie was last seen in Walford as just a toddler in May 2006 when he and his mother left to start a new life.

Freddie was conceived in late 2003 when his mother, Little Mo, was raped by her friend, Graham Foster. Her refusal to abort the child caused the break-up of her marriage to Billy Mitchell. They left Walford shortly after Freddie ended up in hospital seriously ill with bleeding on the brain.

And now he has returned to Albert Square, aged 18, and will find himself on a path that could lead to heartbreak. Dressed in a grey tracksuit, Freddie arrived at the market and showed some interest at Billy Mitchell's market stall.

And the mischief soon began as he then helped himself to a bap from Stacey Slater's stall without paying before jumping the barrier at the tube station. - and getting into trouble for doing so. Luckily for Freddie, Bobby Beale showed his generosity and covered the fare.

But he soon decided not the leave and headed over to the pub where his mum's ex, Billy, was trying to reunite with ex-wife Honey. Ordering two pints, he walked over to Billy, who recognised him as the thief from before and threatened to call the police.

"You’ve got some front, ain’t ya," he told Freddie. "I saw you thieving off the market, we’ve got witnesses. So you sit there like a good little boy while I phone the old bill." But it wasn't long before the newcomer was delivering some shock news of his own.

"Sure, whatever you say," Freddie said as he sat down. I got you this. Name’s Freddie by the way. Mo’s kid. I’m your son."

EastEnders fans were quick to show their support for Bobby and couldn't help but comment on how much he looks like his late mum, Jade, who tragically died in 2009 of cervical cancer at the age of 27. And as well as remarking how much he looks like her, viewers were also keen to share how 'proud' Jade would be of her eldest boy.

Prior to the episode airing, Jeff took to Instagram with a series of his eldest son's modeling shots, which started with the emerging star appearing topless to show off his ripped torse while donning a bedazzled crown. "The boy Brazier makes his @bbceastenders debut this evening at 7.30pm," the proud dad penned.

He went on: "So proud. A wonderful moment for the whole family and anyone that has had this kids back through it all. Thank you for supporting my children."
