Jacqueline Jossa was forced to sell her house following her exit from EastEnders in 2018.
The one-time Queen of the Jungle candidly admitted earlier this year she wasn't 'embarrassed or ashamed' to discuss her past experiences with money woes, as she explained how losing the 'comfort blanket' of a steady income from the BBC soap saw her worrying about her finances before appearing on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
The mum-of-two, 29, confessed she "had to sell my house" and "was struggling with money" before heading into the Australian jungle in 2019, where she captured the nation's hearts and was crowned the winner - catapulting her to a new level of fame and offering the star numerous lucrative opportunities.
Jacqueline - who married to former TOWIE star Dan Osborne - recently shut down her company Pooker Bash Ltd, after paying off debts of £51k. The star's firm was the subject of an investigation by liquidators last year after it was revealed it owed £32k to HMRC and a further £11k to other creditors.
The mum-of-two had originally set the company up to handle her earnings from EastEnders, but when the money dried up after she left her Lauren Branning role in 2018 she entered it into voluntary liquidation. Liquidator Henry Lan has now completed it's probe and closed Pooker Bash after the 2019 I'm A Celebrity winner paid a total of £51,523 towards its debts.
Speaking to Sam and Billie Faiers on their podcast The Sam and Billie Show in February this year, Jacqueline reflected on her past financial worries, explaining how she had to adapt to earn money following her EastEnders exit four years.
"It was a set pay cheque and I didn't have to do anything else. It was my comfort blanket, it was what I knew. Then it just wasn't," she recalled to the former TOWIE stars.
"There's no such thing for me as maternity pay, so when I had kids I had to leave and I had to do magazine covers to make money to feed my kids."
The star - who recently opened up about horrific period pains - went on to address how some critics would slam her for 'selling her soul' with numerous magazine shoots, hitting back with: "I'm feeding my kids. That's the difference. I'm not embarrassed, I'm not ashamed."
Jacqueline shares seven-year-old Ella and three-year-old Mia with former TOWIE star Dan, with the pair tying the knot in October 2017. The reality TV star is also a father to eight-year-old Teddy Osborne from a previous relationship.
"There's been times where I haven't had money. Before I went in the jungle I was struggling with money. I had to sell my house," Jacqueline continued to explain on the podcast.
"And then I went in the jungle and had amazing opportunities, so I would never ever ever look at somebody and say, ''They're not hustling enough''. You have to do it."
Jacqueline, Dan and their children moved into their 'forever home' last year, with the six-bedroom £1.2 million Essex mansion boasting impressive features such as a jacuzzi, an incredible bar area and a picturesque garden.
