Jacqueline Jossa has signed up to the new series of All Star Musicals.
The former EastEnders star will take to the stage for the next series of the ITV show, alongside fellow celebrities including Good Morning Britain's Alex Beresford and wildlife presenter Michaela Strachan. Coronation Street star Lisa George, rugby player Danny Care and actor Colin Salmon will also take part.
Last year, Lisa's fellow Corrie star Catherine Tyldesley won the Christmas edition last year, impressing the three judges - Elaine Paige OBE, Samantha Barks and Trevor Dion Nicholas - with her performance of Memory from Cats which left Elaine in tears.
ITV have also confirmed that John Barrowman is set to return to host the show once again.
Speaking about joining the show, Jacqueline said: "I am so excited to take part in All Star Musicals, it’s thrilling and terrifying, and I can’t wait to tackle a musical number that everyone knows and loves. My girls are going to love seeing me up on that stage."
Whilst weather presenter Alex revealed he was looking forward to "challenging" himself.
"There’s a fine line between panic and excitement, but I can’t wait to challenge myself and feel the thrill of performing a musical number in front of a crowd. The acoustics in my shower are very sympathetic," he said.
Michaela added: "As a wildlife presenter, I don’t often get the chance to swap the walking boots and outdoor gear for something sparkly. I’m attempting to do something I haven’t done for over 30 years, spoiler alert, it’s not the can can."
Each of the six celebs will be supported by a West End ensemble as well as a live orchestra.
John will be joined by Elaine, Samantha and Trevor to open the show with a performance from Grease, whilst the stars will perform a hit from the Phantom Of The Opera, who are celebrating 35 years in the West End.
When she won the show at Christmas, Corrie star Cath admitted it was a life-changing experience for her.
Speaking at the time, she said: "Thank you so much and thank you to everyone. Everyone has worked so hard so this is for everyone. The tuition Elaine gave me, I will keep with me forever."
*All Star Musicals is to air later this year on ITV and ITV Hub.
