Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne recreate iconic Titanic scene in swimming pool video

Jacqueline Jossa and her husband Dan Osborne recreated an iconic scene from Titanic in a hilarious new Instagram post.

The former EastEnders actress and her family were all relaxing in the pool when they came up with the fantastic idea to make a video about the infamous scene of Rose (played by Kate Winslet) and Jack (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) floating on a door.

In the scene, Jack has frozen to death in the icy cold water while Kate balanced safely on the large wooden door.

Jacqueline took to her Instagram to share the video of her taking on the role of Rose while Dan showed off his acting skills as Jack.

Instead of a wooden door, they used a foldable garden chair.

Dan pretended to be dead by closing his eyes while Jacqueline lip-synced the scene while shaking his arms to 'wake him up'.

"Jack, Jack! Jack, there's a boat! Jack," she mouthed before he sunk towards the bottom of the swimming pool.

The cameraman then panned toward the rest of the pool where their family members pretended to be other dead people.

One person even lay face down at the edge of the pool and dunked their head into the water in an act of dedication.

Garden chairs and sun loungers were thrown into the pool to act as the ship's wreckage and we admire the family's commitment to their roles.

Fans were loving the short clip and took to the comment section to laugh about it together.

"The things in pool I can’t cope," one impressed user said.

Another posted: "Better than the original I say," while Megan McKenna commented: "Hahahahahaa. Me."

Nadine Coyle and Samantha Faiers added laughing emojis while one confused user questioned: "Omg how did Dan do that without a nose peg."

The star and her family have been enjoying a long getaway in Marbella, Spain.

She previously posted a picture of her and her family, including children Ella, seven, and Mia, four, posing for the camera.

Jacqueline talked about the importance of having 'family time' and how she used to panic whenever she wasn't working.

"Taking some time off work and booking a long holiday (planned so long ago) was the best thing I’ve ever done," she said. "I feel so balanced, rested and content. Family time is number 1 to me, it always has been.

"I have work coming up, Mia starting big school and a full on life to get back to, so this was much needed.

"I used to feel so panicked whenever I stopped working.. like I was failing or worried what my future would hold, but now I just love balance so much and realise it’s the key to my happiness."
