If you'd have said a season ago that Newcastle United versatile midfielder Joelinton would have a fan favourite chant, many would have raised their eyebrows.
But the Brazilian's form has been nothing short of spectacular since the arrival of Eddie Howe, leading to the St James' Park crowd embracing the 25-year-old after two frustrating years on Tyneside.
Reborn as a box to box midfielder following Howe's decision to move him to central midfield in a 1-1 draw with Norwich in December, Joelinton has become a fan favourite, being adorned with flags in the Gallowgate end and his own special chant from the Toon Army faithful.

And it appears that other Newcastle players are also fans of Joelinton's song, with winger Jacob Murphy spotted out at the Stack in the city centre getting involved with the chant.

In the video, Murphy is pictured asking people to be silent, before climbing up a pole to belt out the chant. "He's Brazilian," bellowed Murphy before being joined by other Newcastle United fans.
And this is not the first time that one of Joelinton's teammates has joined in the love-in for the Brazilian. "I’m so happy for him and he deserves it," said Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff following Joelinton's brace against Norwich in a 3-0 win.
"The way he’s been this season since he’s changed his role, and then to go a little further forward and show how effective he can be there. Everyone’s so happy for him. The changing room’s so happy. You’ve seen him when he came in, the whole room erupted.
"When you see how hard someone works day in, day out, and where he went from the unfair criticism he used to get, and to now where everyone loves him, which is how it’s always been for us."
