Jacksonville found a radical way to ring in the national anthem for its pivotal game against Tennessee on Saturday night.
Area guitarist Paul Wane pulled out his axe and shredded the national anthem pre-game, easily notching one of the most lively renditions of the patriotic tune of the season.
The Star-Spangled Banner has plenty of guitar-heavy renditions in its history, but this one had to be the most Jacksonville-y.
Wane actually uses his shredding skills for good in Jacksonville, as he runs a foundation called Guitars 4 Kids.

Now, that’s an anthem for the ages. Wane will surely be invited back by the Jaguars to kick off games with his America-ready guitar.
No matter what the outcome of the game was, Jacksonville earned a pretty clear win with inviting Wane to get things started.
