Jacket Potato has been rumbled on The Masked Singer, with fans now sure of his identity after he became the first ever star to play the guitar on the show.
The performances and clues so far on the ITV show have left viewers making some wild guesses, with EastEnders star Shane Richie a popular guess amongst fans. However, as Jonathan Ross, Rita Ora, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan, gave their verdict on their performance tonight, fans are convinced they know who might be behind the mask.
Eager fans of the show took to social media to express their excitement at finally having cracked the person's identity.
Some fans are sure the person must be associated with performing as part of their career, thanks to a clue which saw them dancing at a disco venue, whilst others said the mention of 'drop it like it's a hot potato' hinted at a link to funk music.
They were also seen reading a copy of William Shakespeare's play Romeo And Juliet, whilst in their clue package, they had also said: "Hey, it’s me, Jack. I’ve got quite the collection, so big, it'll make you say, 'woah.'"
Some thought they could be an actor, as they said in their clue package that they were "always priding myself on being able to express a whole host of emotions – that could be the secret to my success".
"I’ve certainly had auditions that could’ve seen me take very different roles," they said as they were shown playing the piano and also holding a stethoscope, which could mean they've had a role in some sort of medical drama.
Other clues have included an out of order sign, the number 50 and they also said they "know what it’s like to be the foil".
Jacket Potato's costume is quite incredible, and it even includes a big slab of butter on their head as well as Styrofoam containers on their feet. They are wrapped in foil too, with fans excited to see who is behind the mask.
On Jacket Potato's identity, one fan guessed: "Jacket Potato is Richie Sambora. The sound of his voice. That guitar solo. #MaskedSingerUK," whilst a second added: "Oh come on people the guitar it’s Richie ! #MaskedSingerUK."
