Jack Wills is set to close its Cardiff store in April. The branch at The Hayes announced they will be closing next month in a notice displayed in the shop's window.
Retailers in the UK have suffered in recent years as online shopping has become more popular with shoppers. Since the start of December, five Jack Wills stores across the UK have closed.
The company has shut stores in Canterbury, Newbury, Nottingham, Aberdeen and Halifax in rencent months with Cardiff becoming another loss. The British clothing brand was founded in 1999 in Salcombe by Peter Williams and Robert Shaw. In 2019, the brand joined the Frasers Group company, which also owns brands like Sports Direct and House of Fraser.
