Comedian Jack Whitehall has told how he was friends with Harry before the prince met Meghan Markle, before being “dropped” from the group.

The well-to-do comic was quizzed about his relationship with the royal while on Australian podcast Jase & Lauren during a tour Down Under.

He explained: “I’ve come into contact with a couple of [the royals] in the past.

“I was quite good friends with Harry back in the day. Pre-Meghan, when he was a terror.”

“I was dropped,” Whitehall quickly added.

The Fresh Meat star was then asked if he was in Las Vegas with Prince Harry when he was pictured naked in a hotel room.

Prince Harry had reportedly been playing “strip billiards” after inviting friends back to his hotel room for a private party.

In response, Whitehall said: “No annoyingly, I wasn’t there for the naked billiards. But I had a few nights out with him…

“I mean, I wasn’t, I wouldn’t say it part of the inner circle, to go back to a Vegas analogy.

“But no, I had a few nights out with him when he was quite fun.”

The comedian confirmed he was engaged to model Roxy Horner in December.

The model, who welcomed her first child with Whitehall last year, flashed her sparkling ring in several clips with her new fiance in a highlights reel on Instagram.

The comedian and actor is known for his sarcastic and self-deprecating stand-up comedy sets and starring in the sitcom Bad Education.

He gained further popularity after starring alongside his father, Michael Whitehall, 84, in the Netflix show Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father, which sees the duo travel around the world together.
