Jack Whitehall is no stranger to royalty, having gone to the same school as Princess Catherine and previously performing for King Charles and Queen Camilla – but he's ruled out the Coronation.
The comedian who is known for his roles in the likes of Bad Education, Fresh Meat and The Nutcracker and the Four Realms believes other acts may be more suitable.
Whitehall, 34, recently delighted viewers in the Amazon Prime series Live Italian which saw him embrace all things Italy as he was introduced to true Italian food and music.
But the Mirror can reveal he's not keen on performing at Windsor Castle to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
Jack said: "I don't know if my material is quite right for such an occasion.
"I think they may want to stick to Cliff Richard and Rod Stewart."
Jack joins the likes of Kylie, Harry Styles, the Spice Girls and Take That who have all stated they won't be performing at Windsor Castle.
But Jack went on to reveal that he has been "banned" from making anymore jokes about the Royals by his dad, Michael Whitehall.
"I've been told I'm not allowed to make any more jokes about the Royal Family because my dad thinks it will impact his chances of getting on OBE," he explained.
In the past, Jack has taken several comedic swipes at the Royal Family, famously calling Prince Harry "ginger nuts" during the 2015 Royal Variety performance, before joking: "I will offer up his services as royal wingman," as Harry and his now wife, Meghan Markle were not dating.
Jack has also been left red-faced after Charles, who was then Prince of Wales was left far from impressed by his "terrible" jokes.
He explained that he had once been asked to appear at Charles' Christmas party for his staff with the Prince and then Duchess of Cornwall sitting on the front row in thrones.
Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show, Jack explained: "I heard Charles turn to Camilla as I was leaving the stage and he went 'I think next year we'll try a magician'."
Away from the comedy stage, Jack has tried his hand at acting in Hollywood and despite his success, he still gets nervous ahead of meetings.
"I tend to get a little bit nervous when I'm auditioning and indeed when I step onto the stage," he explained before continuing: "I think having a degree of nerves is quite good and keeps you sharp and on top of your game."
Discussing his new travel show which was created in partnership with Birra Moretti, Jack said: "It was a lot more relaxing experience from my previous travel shows as I wasn't travelling with my father who can be a bit of a mood hoover at times.
"It was honestly a bit of a dream gig that Birra Moretti threw my way - kicking back, slowing down, making pasta and eating divine food."
During the series, Jack learnt to "slow down" and not live "life at a million miles an hour", before explaining that while he was taught a thing or two about Italian life, he introduced them to the "sacred" British dish – Alphabetti Spaghetti.
