JACK HENDRY insists Scotland will target nothing less than a victory over Ukraine as they bid to finish the job in the Nations League.
Steve Clarke's side stand on the brink of promotion from League B1 after a thrilling comeback win over the Republic of Ireland at Hampden.
Hendry sparked Scotland into life with a second half header to bring the hosts level and a late Ryan Christie penalty earned a battling three points.
A share of the spoils is all that Clarke's side need in Krakow on Tuesday night as Scotland aim to pip Ukraine to top spot in the section and a play in the Euro 2024 play-offs.
But Hendry only has one thing in mind after a hard-fought encounter against Stephen Kenny's side on Saturday evening.
Hendry said: "It was a good game. I thought both teams went out for the win, it was very competitive.
"It always is when Scotland versus Ireland and thankfully today we came out on top. Credit to Ireland, they made it difficult for us, first half especially.
"At half-time we spoke about how we could hurt them. Thankfully we did that in the second half.
"I just followed my run [for the goal]. I thought I had good momentum so I just followed it into the box and thankfully Ryan picked me out and I got on the end of it.
"It was a good point to get that goal. It changed the momentum of the game towards us and we did well to go on and get the win in the end.
"I think tonight we only needed a point as well but we didn't have that mentality. We wanted to win the game and it will be the same on Tuesday.
"We are going to Poland to play Ukraine and we will be looking for the three points again. We have got good momentum just now and we want to keep that up."
