Pep Guardiola must decide whether to stick or twist as his Manchester City side resume their Premier League title charge against Newcastle on Sunday afternoon (4.30pm). Victory against the Magpies would allow City to open up a three-point advantage over Liverpool heading into the final three games.
That opportunity has been presented to them after Jurgen Klopp's side were held by Tottenham on Saturday afternoon. City, meanwhile, will have to dust themselves down following an agonisingly painful collapse against Champions League opponents Real Madrid on Wednesday night.
Several players were put through 120 challenging minutes in Madrid, a game that saw the European dream slip away for Guardiola and his players another season. City also suffered some injuries, as Kyle Walker limped off after putting in a heroic performance when thrust straight back in after a troublesome ankle injury.

Goalkeeper - Ederson
Even though Ederson was among those to play 120 minutes against Real, this is the simplest decision for Guardiola to make. He will surely start.
Defenders - Joao Cancelo, Ruben Dias, Aymeric Laporte, Oleksandr Zinchenko
Walker put in a heroic display while bandaged up against the Spanish champions. But he's unlikely to start this one, while John Stones (hamstring) is not yet 100 per cent fit. In what seems to be a 50-50 decision at left-back, fans have sided with Oleksandr Zinchenko over Nathan Ake.
Midfielders - Ilkay Gundogan, Rodri, Kevin de Bruyne
Kevin de Bruyne was surprisingly hooked on Wednesday night and that means he should be good to go for the full 90 minutes here. Bernardo Silva is the most likely to be afforded some rest-time, you would imagine, as German star Ilkay Gundogan gets the nod from Manchester Evening News readers.
Forwards - Riyad Mahrez, Raheem Sterling, Jack Grealish
Three from six is never the easiest sum, but that does mean there is scope for Guardiola to freshen things up with his forward line. Riyad Mahrez scored at the Bernabeu and did not see out extra-time. Jack Grealish and his England teammate Raheem Sterling are tipped to replace Gabriel Jesus and Phil Foden.
IN: Oleksandr Zinchenko, Ilkay Gundogan, Raheem Sterling, Jack Grealish.
OUT: Kyle Walker, Bernardo Silva, Gabriel Jesus, Phil Foden.
