Jack Grealish posts picture from inside England's dressing room after win over Wales

A chuffed Jack Grealish shared an image from England 's dressing room as the Three Lions revelled in their emphatic 3-0 victory over Wales.

The Manchester City star, 27, posed with teammate and West Ham United captain Declan Rice to take a selfie on social media platform BeReal from the bowels of the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium. "Let's gooo," England ace Grealish added on Twitter, where he also posted the photo. "Top of the group and through to the last 16."

His delight was shared by the nation after two goals from Marcus Rashford and a strike from Phil Foden sealed the win for Gareth Southgate 's side. England will now play Senegal in a round of 16 clash on Sunday, having topped Group B with seven points after comfortable victories over Iran and Wales, and a goalless draw with the USA.

The Three Lions looked to be in for another slog on Tuesday night after going into half-time against Wales with the score at 0-0. But within six minutes of the restart, Rashford and Foden had broken Welsh hearts with a goal each. Rashford fired in a fantastic free-kick on the 50-minute mark before Foden got on the end of Harry Kane 's low-driven cross to double England's advantage.

Wales huffed and puffed in a valiant effort to peg the Three Lions back, but star of the show Rashford struck again on 68 minutes to put Rob Pag e's men out of sight and send the Dragons home after a winless group stage. "It's a great feeling," the Manchester United forward told BBC Sport post-match.

"We were a little bit disappointed after the USA result. Thought we could've played a lot better. and it was important to have a good performance the next game. We defended brilliantly in the first half and it was just about killing the game off early and taking the chances in the game."

Manager Southgate echoed Rashford's sentiment, adding: "I thought in the first half we controlled the game but didn't create enough chances. We wanted more thrust and threat, to play forward quicker. Once we got the two goals, we knew their spirit was gone, it has been a tough tournament for them.

"It's great for [Rashford], he has trained really well. He has been impressive since he came back to us, he could have had a hat-trick. That free kick is what he is capable, it's an incredible strike. In moments I thought both of them [Rashford and Foden] were quiet in the first half, so we switched wings. They responded well, for both to get goals was great."
